annual PAC supply to Reworld by approximately 25%

redundancy, with installation expected in Q3FY27
• Replacement of kiln parts and testing continues at Kentucky, with the final replacement
parts expected to be delivered on-site by the kiln contractor this week. The Company will
provide an update following the conclusion of this testing work.
Carbonxt Group Limited (ASX: CG1) (Carbonxt or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has secured an
expandedagreement withReworld, agloballeader in sustainable waste solutions anda long-standing Carbonxt
customer, for the supply of premium Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) from the Company’s Black Birch facility
in Swainsboro, Georgia.
Expanded Reworld Agreement
Under the expanded agreement, four additional Reworld US waste-to-energy facilities will transition to
Carbonxt from 1 January 2027, increasing its annual PAC supply to Reworld by approximately 25%. The
additional volumes will run for the remaining term of the existing contract, to December 2028.
The 2027 revenue contribution is expected to be approximately $1.0 million. Gross margins on the additional
volume are expected to be at or around current Black Birch performance.
Carbonxt’s PAC is used in Reworld’s thermomechanical treatment facilities to remove mercury, dioxins and
furans from emissions. Black Birch produces its PAC from wood-based material, and the product's sustainable
origins has been a key continuing factor in Reworld’s decision to expand its supply relationship with the
Company.
Full-scale deliveries under that contract commenced in October 2024, supplying 17 Reworld waste-to-energy
plants across the US (refer ASX Announcement 17 October 2024). Carbonxt is also a member of Reworld’s
Preferred Supplier Program.
FY27 Revenue Outlook
On 15 September 2026, Carbonxt advised that, together with increased volumes from a second pellet
customer, the increased WPS order means it expects FY27 revenue to be more than 33% higher than FY26 (refer
ASX Announcement 15 September 2026). With the expanded Reworld volumes and other additional customer
commitments, Carbonxt now expects FY27 revenue to be at least 40% higher than FY26.
CARBONXT.COM
As with the 15 September outlook, this expectation comes entirely from the Company’s existing business,
assumes an AUD/USD exchange rate of 0.71 and does not include any contribution from the Kentucky facility,
which remains additional upside.
Carbonxt Managing Director Warren Murphy commented:
“Reworld’s decision to expand our supply relationship again is a strong endorsement of the
performance of our sustainable PAC products and the reliability of our team at Black Birch. Together
with the increased WPS order and higher volumes from a second pellet customer, this growth comes
entirely from our existing business, ahead of the commissioning of our Kentucky facility. The new mill
gives us the capacityto deliverthese additional volumes, adds redundancy at BlackBirch, and positions
us to meet further demand from our customers.”
Additional Capacity at Black Birch
To support the expandedvolumes andgrowing demand for itsPAC products,Carbonxt is installing an additional
mill at the Black Birch facility. Installation is expected to be completed over the next two to three months.
On completion, the new mill is expected to double production capacity at Black Birch to approximately 12,000
tons and provide redundancy across the facility’s operations. Carbonxt will fund the approximately $1.1 million
investment from existing cash flow.
All amounts are in AUD unless otherwise stated.
